Equine Photography - Session Details
Photography Style
My equine photography style is an artistic, natural approach.
You can expect that your photos won't be over edited, and will utilize natural light.
Prior To Your Session
It will be important to lay out your use intentions.
Please Let Me Know If:
- You plan to print the images, and if so what size.
- You want images for social media and you plan to use them for Instagram Stories / Reels, or primarily for The Grid.
Prepping For Your Session
Your horse should be clean and dry prior to my arrival for the shoot.
- If you plan to be in the pictures, please be dressed accordingly and ready to be involved.
- If you plan to ride during the shoot, please plan for time before and after if you would like candid photos.
What to Expect from Me
- Expect me to arrive early! No need to panic, I just want to get the lay-of-the-land, check out lighting and find the best locations to shoot.
- Expect to review paperwork with me, if not already done.
- Expect for me to have squeaky toys and other attention getting devices for candid photos - If you have a very attentive or spooky horse please let me know.
How Many Pictures Will I Get?
- An average 1 Hour photoshoot will net you 30+ Edited photos, primed and ready for social media.
- If you want something specific like sepia, black and white, creative etc. just let me know!
- If you need any images adjusted again just reach out with the file name and what you need changed.
When Will I Get My Pictures?
- Turn-around time on a personal shoot is 2-3 business days.
- Turn-around time for a horse show shoot is approximately 3-5 business days per each weekend.
- I will always do my best to get out a "sneak peak" as quickly as possible.
- You will receive your images in JPG / JPEG format via Google Drive, or Dropbox link
Will You Shoot My *Not Horse* Event?
Typically No - I have numerous wonderful local contacts that shoot weddings, non-equine senior portraits, events, and more.
